From Design Intent To Commercial Reality
Show us what you’re trying to achieve and we’ll work out how to deliver it within the budget and programme available. Sometimes the design works exactly as drawn. Sometimes it doesn’t. Where changes are needed, we’ll work with the design team to stay as close as practically possible to the original intent while making sure the finished shopfront is structurally sound, manufacturable and buildable. That includes glazing calculations where required, glass and framing specifications, entrance details and interfaces with the surrounding construction.
Working Direct With Retailers
Early involvement gives us the opportunity to help before the shopfront reaches site. We work with architects and designers on pre-contract design, provide open-book costing and cost engineering for quantity surveyors and cost consultants, and plan the programme with project managers. Once the main contractor is appointed, we work with their contracts team to coordinate the shopfront, surrounding construction and installation.

Working With Shopfitters
Sometimes we’re brought in much later. We price the glazing package, survey once instructed, review the design and propose the closest practical solution where changes are required. Then we’re clear about manufacturing lead times and when we can install. Once that programme is agreed, we do what we’ve said we’ll do.

Knowing What You're Paying For
Retail glazing quotations are rarely genuinely like-for-like. Drawings and specifications often leave details open to interpretation, meaning two prices for what appears to be the same shopfront can include very different things.
We price the job we believe needs to be delivered.
That means the correct glass and systems, glazing calculations where required, appropriate hardware, experienced installation teams and the planning needed to deliver the job properly. Our suppliers aren’t chosen because they’re the cheapest. We use people we trust who understand glass, retail, quality, lead times and the pressures of shopfitting programmes. We won’t always be the cheapest. But we don’t cut corners to become the cheapest.

Retail programmes are tight, and glass doesn’t always cooperate. Damage, breakages, manufacturing issues and last-minute changes can happen. What matters is how quickly they’re dealt with. Our supply chain can react when problems arise, and we’ll do everything reasonably possible to protect the programme and keep the job moving. When we’re working towards an opening date, our phones don’t switch off at five o’clock.
